You may remember that this resurgence in blogging, and the viewing of Social Media in a different way began at the start of this year (2017).
The
lady responsible for helping me make the shift is M J Robertson, the founder of
the alltolove.com blog and the author of The Fearless Life Guide (see the link
on the shopping page)
Molly
had invited me to take part in a 30-day challenge, the object of which was to
record a video each day over 30 days and then post it onto Facebook.
The purpose of these videos was to provide insights into my life, so that people began to get to know the person they were friends with on Social Media.
I
challenge you to do the same thing – it really is good fun! If you accept the challenge please include me
in the tags when you post the videos to your Facebook page (and the Under Blue
Skies page, I hope).
In addition and because
I enjoyed that challenge so much I have researched further about how it could be
used in an even more positive way.
That
research has led me to a set of 21-day challenges designed to change your life
and help to create a better you.
It
is a proven fact that if you start something like the challenges listed below
and continue to follow the actions detailed for 21 consecutive days, what you
are doing will become a habit.
If
you follow the 8 challenges detailed then you have the potential to become a
completely changed person –
So,
are you prepared to take part?
Are
your ready to make significant changes to your life?
The Challenges
Challenge 1
Get Out Of
Your Comfort Zone
For
21 days do something you have never done before. Travel; test your fears; meet new people –
do something that scares you!!
Challenge 2
Turn Off The
Negatives
For
21 days stick to being optimistic and positive.
If you don’t like the situation you are in, instead of being negative
about it do something to change it. If
you can’t change it move through it with faith, turn off you negativity and
press on.
Challenge 3
Set A Budget
For
21 days set yourself a daily budget and follow it. Many hardships come about through stressing
about money. However, if you set yourself a budget it opens the way to an
awareness of what your spend your money on and helps you to fix the
situation. Set the budget, follow it and
observe what happens
Challenge 4
Become More
Accepting
For
21 days don’t judge other people for something that they did, even if it was unethical, immoral
or simply wrong. Put yourself in their
shoes, love them throughout the situation, do not judge them even if you may
not agree with the things they are doing.
Accept situations, people and outcomes.
Challenge 5
Stop Putting
Things Off
For
21 days avoid putting things off. Set
goals, commit to them and follow them through to the end. If necessary start with the worst thing, make
yourself a to-do list. Don’t put things
off and get them completed early
Challenge 6
Volunteer / Be
Of Service To Others
For
21 days be of service to your partner; your family and your friends. Join a volunteer group, helping people less
fortunate than you are (even if it is only for 1 day a week). For this challenge serve others and volunteer
often
Challenge 7
Spread
Kindness
For
21 days be friendly to everyone around you and to yourself. When you wake up in
the morning compliment yourself in the mirror.
Compliment the people you work with, your partner, your family and
friends. These compliments will often
make someone’s day. Aim to compliment at
least three people a day for the 21 day period.
Challenge 8
Don’t Complain
For
21 days stop complaining that you are tired, that there is too much washing to
do, or moaning about the weather. These complaints are not helping or doing
anything constructive, they are simply making you feel down and miserable. Create a daily “no complaint” routine
