world astounds me and I think I understand

Written at 6.58 am this morning
“Today I have a blog post to write and at the
moment I have nothing in my mind to even consider using as a topic to write it
about.
I don’t know why this should be! I feel like I want to pick up my camera and
my guitar and just walk off to try and get my head sorted – but I know that
cannot and will not take place today.
I look around me and see things that are false
and fake and know that in part that has something to do with my vision……
However this raises several questions…….
“Do I really know what I am talking about?”
“Does anyone really care?”
“Am I making any sort of a difference?”
I can hear a voice inside me which is very
small and faint saying
“yes you are!”
So maybe I have to simply sit with these
thoughts and allow them to just come and go in their own time.
To ride out the emotions, let them be and trust
that however hard and uncomfortable it gets I will make it out of the other
side.
So now I think that I have found the topic of this week’s
post.
My emotions are currently all over the place
and as I am writing this piece I have tears in my eyes, my heart aches and yet
deep down I know that I will grow because of this experience.
If there is one thing that I have learned from
those people that have been my inspiration it is that no matter how hard it
gets at these times, it will come to an end and I will emerge having grown.
So now having written this post I am aware that
the cloud is currently lifting – maybe I am not totally out of the storm, but I
do feel that it is abating.
And with these words from Melancholy Man
echoing through my mind….
“A beam of light will
fill your head
